    Data Deletion Instructions

    You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. Here's what you need to know:

    • Send a request to legal@cendra.ai with the subject line 'Data Deletion Request'
    • We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours
    • Data deletion is completed within 30 days of verification

    1. What Data We Store

    When you use Cendra's services, we may collect and store the following types of personal data:

    • Account information (name, email address, phone number)
    • Guest conversation history and messaging data
    • Usage data and analytics (page views, feature usage)
    • Payment and billing information (processed by Stripe)
    • Social login profile data (if you signed up via Facebook, Google, etc.)

    2. How to Request Deletion

    You can request deletion of your personal data at any time using the following method:

    Email Us Directly

    Send an email with the subject line 'Data Deletion Request' to:

    legal@cendra.ai

    Please include the following information in your request:

    • Your full name
    • The email address associated with your Cendra account
    • Your account ID or organization name (if applicable)
    • Any specific details about what data you want deleted

    3. What Happens After a Request

    Once we receive your data deletion request, here's what to expect:

    • Acknowledgment: We will confirm receipt of your request within 48 hours.
    • Verification: We may contact you to verify your identity and ensure the request is legitimate.
    • Processing: Your data will be deleted from our active systems within 30 days of verification.
    • Confirmation: We will send you a final confirmation once deletion is complete.

    4. What Data Is Deleted

    Upon a confirmed deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed:

    • Your account profile and personal information
    • All guest conversation history and messaging data
    • Usage analytics and activity logs associated with your account
    • Notification preferences and account settings
    • Any social login data linked to your account

    5. What Data May Be Retained

    In certain cases, we may retain limited data even after a deletion request:

    • Legal obligations: Data required to comply with tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements may be retained for the legally mandated period.
    • Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data may be retained for product improvement purposes. This data cannot be traced back to you.
    • Billing records: Transaction records may be retained as required by financial regulations.

    6. Facebook / Meta Data Deletion

    If you signed up for Cendra using your Facebook account, you can request deletion of the data we received from Facebook by following these steps:

    Steps to delete your Facebook-linked data:

    1. Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
    2. Find 'Cendra' in the list of active apps.
    3. Click 'Remove' to revoke Cendra's access to your Facebook data.
    4. Send an email to legal@cendra.ai with the subject 'Facebook Data Deletion Request' to ensure all Facebook-linked data is removed from our systems.

    Alternatively, you can use Facebook's data deletion request flow directly. When you remove Cendra from your Facebook apps, Facebook will notify us and we will process the deletion automatically.
